Source Water Protection Workshop - Idaho Falls

This workshop will offer 6 hours of drinking water credits and will teach attendees how to utilize the Source Water Protection Planning Tools. Students will learn how to analyze potential risks to their water system, where to look for risk data and susceptibility information, and how to organize this information into a formal Source Water Protection Plan. We will also discuss the concern of fast-paced development in Idaho and how this may impact water quantity and quality. Solutions and recommendations will be covered. Attendees will also learn about corrosivity in their source, how to recognize it, and how to treat it. This information will coincide with the Revised Lead and Copper Rule from EPA.
