The O&M manuals provide maintenance personnel with detailed guidance on extending asset life cycles, minimizing unplanned shutdowns, reducing maintenance costs, and keeping workers safe. Asset management is both a tool and tasks used to track the life of equipment, assess the condition of the asset, and predict needed repairs or replacement.
