2024 IRWA Fall Conference for Attendees

The Fall Conference will be held September 25-26 at the Coeur d’Alene Casino-Resort-Hotel in Worley, Idaho. This event is a place to earn continuing education units (CEUs). There are 37 courses and an offsite tour to choose from. You have the opportunity to earn up to 1.2 CEUs. The networking gained from associating with peers and exhibitors is invaluable.

IRWA is encouraging Operations Specialists, Utility Board Members, Mayors, Council Members, Clerks, Public Works Directors, and other leaders to attend Fall Conference. We have specific classes scheduled to help officials in their responsibilities as managers of their community's most important assets. It is imperative that today's leaders have a firm understanding of their role in their water and wastewater utility systems. Please plan on attending!

PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE YOU "REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT".

Do you have your IRWA website login? If you do, please proceed. If not, please contact the IRWA Office at (208) 343-7001 and request a welcome email be sent to you.

IRWA is asking attendees to REGISTER FOR TRAINING SESSIONS WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR CONFERENCE. This will help us assign classrooms AND most importantly Fall Conference continuing education units (CEUs) will be listed on your IRWA Member Dashboard when conference is over! Click on the REGISTRATION INFORMATION PACKET and print it out before starting the registration process.

Please have the attendee(s) review the training information and make their training selections. During registration you will be asked to select the training you want to attend. If you are attending two days of Fall Conference please review all the training. If you are coming for one day, select the training or tour on the day that you plan to attend. These are the classes or tour that will show up on your CEU certificate.

Off-Site Tour: The one-hour tour of the Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Membrane Treatment Plant will consist of 20 minutes of classroom instruction from representatives of Kubota about membrane technology and the building of this treatment facility. Then participants will take a quick bus ride to the facility to tour the facility. Each tour is limited to 15 people. The tour is offered six times on Wednesday, September 25th. You will register for a tour when you register for conference.

If you select a class that you don't want and you can't change it, please finish registering and then use the confirmation number located at the bottom of the CONTACT PERSON's confirmation email to go back in and fix the error. Or, contact Tondee Clark at (208) 343-7001 and she can help you fix your schedule. If there is training that doesn't apply to you (and you don't need CEUs), you may choose to spend more time in the Exhibit Hall doing research. If that is the case, don't select a training option that time period.

The registration form will also give you the opportunity to purchase IRWA baseball caps, T-Shirts, sweatshirts, textbooks, and warning signs.

Keep in mind that the training session room names will be assigned closer to conference based on registration.

After you complete your registration the confirmation will appear on your screen with the opportunity to print out an invoice. Also, look for two emails. 1) Event Registration Processed and 2) Event Registration Confirmation. The Confirmation email will list all your training sessions and merchandise purchased and include an invoice. These emails often end up in the junk email folder, so move them into your in-box. Full payment is expected before Fall Conference.

Early bird registration ends Monday, September 9th. An additional $50 will be added to the price of registration. Conference registration does not include hotel registration. Meals included: breakfast, lunch and snacks on Wednesday and Thursday; hearty appetizers on Wednesday evening at the Exhibitor Meet and Greet.
