This 6-hour training is part of the Idaho Rural Water Association Apprenticeship Program with an open invitation for others operating a Very Small Wastewater System or needing CEUs to attend. This course covers the following:
• Wastewater collection systems and operation, cleaning and maintenance of pipes, manholes, hazards of Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S) and more.
• Pumps and motors used as lift stations, in cleaning equipment, and how to safely operate and maintain.
NOTE: A very small operation specialist will be completing all the Idaho educational requirements for licensing by taking both the Very Small Wastewater Treatment class and the Very Small Wastewater Collection class. (This training does not include the work experience requirements as per IDAPA rules).
